Saturday

2 happy developments:

Toby's PIC line (long term iv which he has had since about the end of his first week) was removed. This means he is doing well with his feedings and they do not anticipate any problems. He is now able to freely wave his little left hand around and it is one less tether to deal with.

He is clothed for the first time. When I arrived this morning, he was wearing a little "onesie"- made possible by the removal of the PIC. He looked very mature.

Congratulations on a successful surgery for Tobias. What wonderful news!! Is he allowed visitors? I was thinking of coming down this Sunday afternoon after getting out of work to visit with you and the family and perhaps get a close-up view of the baby. Is this acceptable? You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers as you all go through this growing process.

Love, Chris

Toby is certainly allowed healthy visitors. You won't be able to hold him, but if he's having a good day, it is possible to touch him. I'm not sure how much of the family will be around Sunday, but Mom and Elijah should be there as far as I know.
